Valeria Collina

I am an alumni of  the D.a.m.s BA in Cinema and Television from the University of Roma Tre. I attended the professional photography course at the ‘D’Arte e Mestieri – Scienza e Tecnica’ School of the Municipality of Rome. I have always been a great “observer” of the world around me, and from the beginning, the camera was the natural extension of my eye to capture details and particular moments. Stage photography and live shows have been my true passion. For many years, I have told, with my shots, the shows and festivals organised by the Margineoperativo Association. In the past, I also dedicated myself to social and current affairs photography, working in the editorial team of CGIL.it, not only as a photographer but also in creating current affairs and information video services. Another passion of mine, which has always been, is family photos that recall moments spent with friends, holidays and birthdays. In reality, I have always loved photographing children, since my scout days, on travels, with friends’ children (when I wasn’t a mother yet) and then, of course, my daughters. For me, photos represent a small treasure of memories, people and moments of life, and this is the reason that pushed me to dedicate myself to family photography
